Depending upon how much you are willing to invest, and how much space you have available for a workout area you may want to consider getting an exercises bike (I got a cheap one from wally world for under $200 and it's worked great for over three years).
I'd also suggest investing in a few good workout videos. I've loved the Walk Away the Pounds DVDs with Leslie Sansone. You can get them in various intensities and lengths of time. And she's designed them so you can get a good upper body workout just by adding hand weights.
In addition to hand weights you should be able to find yoga equipment, exercise bands, exercise balls, etc for reasonable prices at any Wal-Mart, Target, Kmart, etc (just don't expect to get gym quality equipment from them).
If you can afford to invest a little bit more, and have the space, I'd also suggest looking at treadmills or elliptical machines (again, don't expect to find gym quality equipment for a reasonable price - their more expensive because they are designed to take the abuse of a heavy duty use). These can also give you a great workout.
